Unless you find yourself in Florida, near a body of water, then you can expect to see an American alligator. Of course, running into a 12-foot gator like this one isn’t so common, but when you do you there is certainly an appreciation for its place in the food chain.

The funny thing about that comment is there was a young couple that was caught unawares and were quite surprised to see this large gator laying just off the walking path!
