
Actually this photo is the opposite. Most trade-shows are held in dark, windowless banquet halls in the bowels of hotels or resorts that file people in day in and day out. Not today. Today we had a booth on the sixth floor of a Daytona Beach boutique hotel overlooking the majestic Atlantic. The view was beautiful but it was the quintessential sunny beach day and nondescript in terms of photography. Great for a moment of mindfulness, not so much for finding photographic inspiration. So, with this old-school Florida condo tower acting as sentinel and a garish push on the saturation and contrast we have ourselves today’s image. I wish I could get access to this view on a clear morning or when a storm is rolling in from the Atlantic…
