I have had this photo sitting for some time waiting to see how it would go. What I find interesting here is that this photo could only be taken at a certain time and place, the conditions have to be perfect and it all has to line up to get this mix of light, shadow, and lines. A large part of photography is being open to seeing, a state of mindfulness. While this photo will certainly not win any prizes or end up in National Geographic, it is a moment of mindfulness in an otherwise distracted world. I am glad I was able to see it all come together.
