The Abandoned Places project is not dead, it was just waiting for some inspiration. This place just outside of East Palatka, Florida, did just the trick. Caught this scene out the corner of my eye heading down the road and had to make a sharp (read, unsafe possibly illegal) u-turn to get back here without getting too far off my course and time schedule. The sky, the fall colors, and of course the dilapidated structure played so well together the opportunity to capture it could not be passed up.
