Mushrooms are one of the many little things we often notice but do not see. This little fella was growing in my back yard and it was the delicate underside and soft tones that caught my attention. I have not seen this mushroom grow in my backyard since and wonder what conditions made it possible for him to grow, and why only one showing. Sometimes its the little things that make us stop to think about how little we know of our world and how everything has its place (except ticks, they simply have no good purpose).
