On walkabout at St. Petersburg this nice guy and his adorable puppy were kindred spirits, taking in the night air and local wildlife. I was quite surprised how dog-friendly St. Pete was, which has permeated the culture. Funny thing, everyone was nice and engaging. Maybe dogs are the answer?
