It’s been two years since the beautiful rain lilies have appeared in north Florida. Now they have retuned and are popping up everywhere, and it is truly amazing! I wanted to get another take on them this time so decided to go with a closer approach to a beautiful bunch. I hope they keep coming around for a little bit longer as they may not be back for some time.
They’re gorgeous! White is difficult to properly photograph (at least for me).

Thank you! Yes, white is difficult to expose correctly so I usually under expose 1/3-1/2 stop and increase it in Lightroom while balancing the highlights.
Under exposing 1/3 or 1/2 an F stop makes sense, but it slows things up a bit. I’ll give it
a “shot” the during the next few day when I’m out with my old Mamiya M645 Pro. I have
a roll of Provia 400X in it. Let’s see what happens.
