Originally this post was going to be titled death of a sentinel as this photo depicts a large Ficus tree taken down for development. But, in looking at the image it more resembles the maw of a recently slain dragon, laid on display for the hero’s glory. Maybe the thoughts are one in the same, but in different ethos.

It’s a wonderful picture. However, in my eyes it looks like what could be the jaws of the Leviathan
who could have been slain at the battle of Troy. Imagine the photography Agamemnon could have
captured if he had a decent point & shoot!
Now that would be truly epic! Achilles, face detection, and fill flash!
Yes, it would have been epic. However, what isn’t known is that Thomas Hobbes’ Leviathan
was slain at the battle of Troy. I’m remitting a jpeg of its’ remains for your consideration.
