I literally just told a friend yesterday that I don’t use my iPhone for most of the photos on my site, and here I am to disprove that less than 24 hours later. I will say this shot would have been a tougher grab with my regular camera, likely needing a tripod and slow shutter speed, but here the iPhone really sang. After dropping the wife and eldest daughter off at a K-Pop concert in Jacksonville, Olivia and I drove to Atlantic Beach to check out the ocean and get a bite to eat. I know Olivia would have killed me if I busted out my regular camera but a few shots with the iPhone was ok. This pic is looking toward Jacksonville Beach as a storm rolls in from the Atlantic, an instance where the light pollution from a busy area illuminates the contrast between two worlds.
