I was looking for a specific photo and found this gem that I have never seen before! From my then-girlfriend-now-wife’s and I trip to Sonoma back in 2010, this gem was snapped with the now ancient iPhone 3G. At first I thought it was a photo of a painting, but GPS data pinpointed the winery this road led to (J Rickards Winery) and the painting-like colors are from a phone sensor that pales in comparison to today’s Pro monsters. The drawback is the low resolution and JPEG quality which will only yield small prints. That’s okay, finding this was a heck of a treat as it captures the magic of that trip and all it represents in its dream-like remembrance of warm colors, amazing food, and even better company.
